Colin Wong Kitchens Edinburgh

The prestigious annual NEFF Master Partner Awards have just announced their finalists for this year’s gala award ceremony which will take place at The Roundhouse in London on the 4th February.

These awards have been extremely fruitful for Development Direct Kitchens Edinburgh as previous years’ awards have seen Colin Wong, Creative director of Development Direct winning 3 kitchen designer of the year awards.

The judges this year have again shortlisted Colin for this prestigious award and quite amazingly, he will battle one of his own designers, Martin Baptie and one other for the coveted title.

It is quite an accolade for Development Direct following the success of previous years and Colin Wong commented”

“It’s always nice to be recognised for the calibre of work we do and it always makes me proud, however this year has a very surreal and more special feeling with one of my designers also being nominated. Martin really deserves to be recognised and I sincerely hope that the best man wins. This is probably the only occasion that I will be happy to lose”

Colin Wong Development Direct

We are delighted to announce that we, Development Direct, have been nominated as a finalist in two categories at this year’s prestigious kbbreview Retail & Design Awards. Entered annually by the very best of the UK’s kitchen and bathroom businesses, the black tie award-ceremony is organised by kbbreview, the industry’s leading business magazine for over 30 years.

Colin Wong, Creative Director of Development Direct says:

“After last year’s amazing win at the 20th anniversary of the kbbreview Design Awards, it is a true honour to of been nominated again this year. I wasn’t expecting this at all as I didn’t think I could surpass last year’s highs – it really came as a pleasant surprise! It’s an amazing early Christmas present for me and my design team and I’m really looking forward to the award ceremony in March”.

Tim Wallace, editor of kbbreview says: “After the great success of our 20th anniversary last year, we’re delighted to see this enthusiasm carried through to 2015. These really are the highest accolades this industry has to offer and to be named as one of the finalists is a huge achievement especially as the independent judging panel is made up of true industry experts.

“We would therefore like to extend our congratulations to Colin on being nominated again following his win in both the kitchen and bathroom categories last year and wish him the very best of luck going forward.”
