Colin Wong shortlisted for 2017 KBBreview Awards

by Dev Direct on February 9, 2017

kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2017The Annual KBB awards have judged all entries and selected their finalists for the 2017 Kbbreview awards to be held in a red carpet ceremony in Birmingham.

It was a great moment to discover that our Creative director, Colin Wong has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘kitchen designer of the year’ category where he will compete against 3 other finalists. These awards have been extremely successful for Colin as he has won both the kitchen and bathroom designer awards on 3 occasions and also been a previous judge for the awards.

However, Colin is under no illusion how difficult it will be for him to pick up another award, ‘it’s good to see that I still got the tingles when the shortlist was announced. I made a decision to return to these awards after taking a year out judging and I kind of developed an urge after watching all the finalists presenting their skills and projects.

These awards create a great buzz as you have to go through a fairly unique judging day where you attend the great oak rooms at RIBA to be grilled by a panel of unforgiving industry experts.

There is certainly no doubt that the best man or woman will win on the day as the judging process is so thorough. I look forward to the judging day and wish all the other finalists the best of luck!”

Judging day at RIBA, London will be held on the 21st February followed by the award ceremony at the Birmingham Hilton on the 27th March 2017.
